A distinctive vodka infused with rare Zimbabwean Masau fruit and distilled six times in the UK. Smooth, refined and unmistakably Zimasa.
Sourced from the rare Masau fruit, indigenous to Zimbabwe and deeply connected to the heritage behind our name.
Meticulously distilled a minimum of six times to create an exceptionally smooth and refined spirit.
A unique flavour profile with subtle notes of dry apple and plum, developed through our specialised distillation process.
Our commitment to quality has already earned Zimasa a Silver medal at the London Spirits Competition.
Zimasa began with three people who wanted to celebrate the place they called home.
Growing up in Zimbabwe, they remembered gathering Masau fruit with their families—a simple tradition that became the inspiration for something much bigger.
The name Zimasa brings together Zimbabwe and Masau, reflecting the connection between our spirit, our heritage and the land that inspired it.
Today, that heritage is transformed into a distinctive vodka, handcrafted in small batches and distilled in the UK.
The Masau fruit begins its journey in Zimbabwe before being transformed through a carefully developed distillation process in Britain.
At the historic Hensol Castle Distillery, Master Distiller Dai Wakely developed a unique process that brings out the distinctive character of the Masau fruit while creating the smoothness expected from a premium vodka.
Small batch. Six times distilled. Distinctly Zimasa.
Our ambition is to achieve a zero-waste supply chain by 2028.
We are exploring new uses for the Masau fruit, including preserves, chutneys, marinades and animal feed from leftover skins and seeds.
We work with communities and partners to create lasting environmental and social value.
